kabsabDor Chadash is an open, grass-roots, egalitarian community, a bunch of friends and the friends of their friends, who celebrate kabbalath shabbath together based on masorti values. During the year the community currently meets in the Budapest Moishe House. The liturgy is updated through modern melodies, guitar and the event is often followed by a small dinner, a lecture or a discussion. Members meet for other major Jewish holidays, as well.

Dor Chadash expects everyone on the Friday on the Lake Bánk festival, just like last year sfor kabbalath shabbath and shabbath services. The service will be at the Lake-side, in the garden of the Bánkgyöngye  Pension, and anyone can come - regardless of age, gender or religious views!
If you are not familiar with the liturgy a transliteration in Hungarian and English will help you to find your way, and there will be music, too.

On shabbath we will start the shabbath service with one hour prayer and yoga, mediation. Afterwards we will read the Torah together, and hear exciting explanations to the text by Avigail ben Aryeh, director of MAROm olami (World MAROM).

Shabbath ends with a joint havdalah at the water, close to the Adventure park - with a lot of candles!
