The City is for all

Irregular Secondary School Lessons

In the first part of the two-hour-long lesson we'll present a lecture on the topic of homelessness. First of all, two or three of our homeless members will tell us about their lives, answer questions, and maybe even ask their own questions from the audience. Our lecturers will uncover the hardships of homeless living. We'll try to give answers to some general questions regarding the topic, since our activists are homeless people themselves and thus fully familiar with the concerns of this field. Besides our homeless members, you can also listen to an activist who has a homel: he'll tell us his motivations for participating as a volunteer and introduce our group.

Following all the above, in the second half of the workshop, we'll invite 10 of our audience to participate in our Homeless Labyrinth simulation-drama game. The two groups formed by them may go through the struggles of homeless everydays, however, further details of the game are top secret until the festival! We can guarantee it's gonna be fun, though. But besides laughing, you can also go a bit deeper in exploring the fate of homeless people. The rest of the audience will have a chance to play as well: at the end of the game, they can evaluate the performance of the players and share their feelings.

All active participants will get a prize!

The City is For All Group consists of homeless people and their associate volunteers, who wish to do something for the sake of a society based on equality and justice.  The aim of the group is to create opportunities for homeless people, to help them protect their dignity and fight for their right to have a home. Homeless people hold main positions in all of the activities of the organization.
