Travel info

Besides the services of the National Railway or distant bus routes, you can also choose to use the telecar option on our website. There will also be a festival shuttle bus, more details of this option are coming later.

On the festival bicycles are the preferred means of transportation as opposed to cars, so you can rent bikes (there'll be loads of them this time) or perhaps find a rickshaw.

You can approach Bánk from several directions. From Budapest it takes about 70 km. Go on the main road no. 2  until the Rétság roundabaout, after which it takes only a 2 km long access road  to Bánk. If you arrive from Salgótarján, take the main road no. 22 until the same roundabout (at the 58 km sign). Balassagyarmat is 23 km, Salgótarján is 75 km from Bánk.

If you're coming from Cserhát, there are some smaller, more romantic (but still well accessible) roads towards Bánk.

The Slovak border is about 15 km far on the E75 international road.
