This year we’ve broaden the range of travel options to Lake Bánk: beyond the usual scheduled train and bus transportation, we have set up a “tele-car” service.

You can connect to people online who are also coming to the festival and share a ride in your car, or join them if they have an extra seat!

An other comfortable option will be a direct Festival Bus that will leave daily from the heart of Budapest (Gödör Klub, Erzsébet tér). Details coming soon!

On the spot, we prefer biking instead of driving. It will be possible to rent a limited amount of bikes (try to bring your own) and there will be rickshaws riding between the festival locations.

Bánk is easy of access from more directions. It’s about 70 km from Budapest.

If you come on route no. 2, you will reach a roundabout after Rétság with a turnout to the right, in the direction of Bánk. This road is a 2 km long service road. Follow it and you will reach the lake in less than 15 minutes.

From the direction of Salgótarján, it’s accessible by the route no. 22. After you have reached route no. 2, you need to follow the directions above: turn (left) in the roundabout located at 58 km stone, towards Bánk, follow the service road until you hit the lake!

Balassagyarmat is about 23km, Salgótarján is about 75 km away from Bánk.

Bánk is accessible from the direction of Cserhát on smaller, romantic, but relatively fine roads, too.

The Slovakian border is around 15 km away on the E75 international road.
